Whenever I get into the mood to cook or bake, the end results vary but are usually in three categories:
- Polite agreement that the food is (barely) edible
- Loud exclamations of disgust
- Happy appreciative faces
I used to fret and try to do better (and failing miserably) because I'd usually get reaction #2. Years later, I was upgraded to reaction #1. Its a fantastic day when reaction #3 emerges. *grins*
Now I just cook whenever I feel like it.
And I'm not so concerned about how others react to my cooking (except food allergies-lah).
