Had a fun girl's day out yesterday with Mum & Jie.
Just because. :)
We had brunch at Jarrod & Rawlins (Purveyor of Fine Foods) in OU. With the exception of one waiter, the service was pretty rude and insensitive. Felt pretty miffed, so after paying for our (ridiculously expensive) meal (that tasted like salted cardboard) we vowed to never set foot in that F&B outlet EVER.
The highlight of the day was watching "Mamma Mia! The Movie". Loved the cast and the dance choreography. Very West End-ish. And ABBA-ish during the song Money, Money, Money. They got the cast in sailor suits popping up from nowhere down to pat. *grins*
Meryl Streep was wonderful to watch and listen to as usual. Everything just comes alive when she is in the picture. n_n
We collectively agreed that Pierce Brosnan sounded pretty good when he sang with the other two male characters. He just needs a bit of tweaking to hit the right pitch (and notes) while doing his solo. Brave attempt on his part though. *applauds*
Evening saw us having dinner with Dad (who just returned from his birding adventure that started early in the morning).
I so feel like using the Standard 4 karangan cliche: Saya berasa penat tetapi sangat gembira.
*grins*
