Peace at Last?

The past three days have been a sorry state, because the truth was sidestepped and my integrity and character got attacked by that person who decided to throw a smoke screen on the whole issue.

Was truly miffed, but still was advised by those who regularly deal with that person to just apologise.

I was reluctant, but did it anyway.

And felt a deep sense of peace after that (not immediately after though), knowing that all judgment ultimately belongs to my Lord.

Thanks to all my friends, my dearest Nic and my mum for their moral and emotional support. :)

Finally Moving Along

After waiting for yonks, and getting sooooo frustrated in the process, I decided to take the lead.

Frankly, I don't care what people say (or may say) anymore.

Either one get things done or one doesn't.

If you asked me right now whether I am sure that this is what I really want with my life, I can't.

I feel tired.

And unappreciated.

Could be just the popular 'female-mood-swing' at work.

Or not.


Need more sleep.


But first, off to the kitchen to bake a batch of cream cheese cookies. :)

At Times

I had wanted to share, to say that I've been there before.

To help overcome that fear.

Because for all the tongue-lashings, put downs, degratory words I got from some of my previous bosses, despite the resulting paranoia that they will do something to me or my loved ones once I leave, nothing happened.

Because there is something called the LAW [specifically the Employment Act 1955 (EA 1955)], and bad bosses are only so because they take advantage of (and plain bully) their defenceless employees who are (quite often) ignorant of their rights.

Yes, its as simple as that.

Educate yourself. Know your rights. Buy a copy of the EA 1955, read it, understand it. If you don't understand it, get someone who knows it thoroughly to explain it to you.

Maggie is Coming Back

These days, to put it rather bluntly, I feel rather stupid.

Not just any stupid...but plain degraded, talked-down to, disorganised, bossed around, and sapped of emotions & energy by super-negative people who blame others for their misery (not realising that they are causing their own misery) and they just refuse to go away.

The ramifications of such unhealthy roles and relationships at work are going to kill me (literally) if I don't refocus soon.

I feel so boxed in!

I am NOT going to lend a sympathetic ear to such poisonous people any longer, not am I going to react to them - they interrupt my work, take up my time because they want to chat (for hours at a time!!), merrily spread their bile all over, and cause greater resentment and negativity at the workplace.


Maggie: Come on, we want the old Maggie back!

It is wonderful to see how Jesus is beginning to touch the lives of those bitter, sacarstic individuals.
